Turkish warplanes once again on Sunday heavily bombarded the border areas of Kurdistan’s Duhok province, allegedly targeting the positions of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), like reported by basnews.com.
According to a local official, the Sunday air raids were mainly focused on the vicinity of Derishke, Gezi, and Bedoohe villages of Amedi.
The official confirmed in a statement made to BasNews that no civilians living in the area were killed or injured.
However, he noted, the airstrikes have brought massive damages to the wildlife in the region.
