The Islamic State (IS) has executed scores of its members in its stronghold of Mosul in Northern iraq.
35 IS members were executed in Ghazlani military base in Western Nineveh province and sent to the forensic hospital after they had allegedly been convicted of treason and disobedience by IS Sharia Court, Iraqi media sources reported.
IS has recently been facing successive failures in its battles against Peshmerga from which jihadists and their leaders are frequently reported to flee the battlefield.
The extremest group, therefore, often executes its members as well as leaders for violating IS rules.
