“The ISIL has executed 13 of its own members in al-Tala’e garrison near the capital of the self-proclaimed Caliphate,” the sources said, adding, “The executed ISIL members had been arrested by the groups’ security forces on March 30 on charges of working on a plot to assassinate the terrorist group’s Tunisian commander Abu al-Haija.”
“Al-Haija had been appointed by ISIS Leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi to supervise military operations in Northeastern Aleppo, but was killed in an airstrike.”
With the execution of these 13 fighters, the ISIL has killed 51 of its own members on different security charges since April.
In May, the ISIL executed six men on charges of spying for the Syrian government forces or rival terrorists in the Western part of Raqqa province and Northern Aleppo.
“The ISIS executed three men on charges of spying for the Free Syrian Army in the small town of al-Rai in Aleppo,” the sources said, “Also, the group crucified three men in Tabaqa region in Raqqa province under the pretext of spying for anti-ISIL forces.”
The 3 victims of the ISIL brutality in Raqqa were identified as Ahmad al-Ibrahim, Hussam Khalil al-Hammoud, and Faysal ‘Abdel-Rahim al-Daher, FNA reported.
