A security source in Anbar Province announced on Saturday, that 17 members of the so-called ISIS had been killed or wounded in a shelling conducted by the Iraqi aircraft in Fallujah (62 km west of Baghdad), while pointed out that the dead included a number of ISIS leaders and suicide bombers who were planning to target the capital, Baghdad.
The source said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “Falcons Intelligence Cell observed a group of 11 ISIS suicide bombers in a headquarters near the city of Fallujah,” indicating that, “The security forces monitored the headquarters for several days.”
The source, who asked anonymity, added, “The Iraqi Air Force aircraft backed by the Joint Operations Command carried out an air strike, resulting in the destruction of the headquarters, as well as killing 13 ISIS terrorists, including nine suicide bombers, and injuring 4 others.”
