Tunisian armed forces carried out a massive anti-terrorism operation on the border with Algeria, local sources have said.
The operation involving heavy weapons and shelling took place on Mount Sammama in the governorate of Kasserine.
The army intervened following the sighting of men belonging to jihadist groups operating in the area, the sources said.
