Tunisian Ministry of Interior, announced the busting of a terrorist cell, called “Katibat Al jihad and unity,” which was plotting military attacks.
In a statement today, it said that, the terrorist group, which was dismantled in the governorate of Sidi Bouzid, was a “structured” network, which swore allegiance to a leader of a terrorist organisation, active abroad.
The elements of this network, who had been plotting to conduct attacks, targeting security patrols and police stations in the regions, were all arrested.
