The Afghan forces conducted operations in the outskirts of Qalat city of Zabul inflicting heavy casualties on Taliban militants, like reported by khaama.com.
The 205th Atal Corps in a statement said the security forces conducted the operations as part of Khalid-98 operations.
The statement further added that the security forces killed 10 Taliban militants during the operations.
Furthermore, the 205th Atal Corps said the security forces also wounded 15 Taliban militants during the same operations.
The Taliban group has not commented regarding the operations so far.
