Tajikistan native who fought in Syria was planning a terror act in Moscow on March 8, reports Izvestiya newspaper.
“According to the sources of Izvestiya in a force structure, terrorists were preparing a “present” for the capital’s inhabitants on March 8. The followers of IS terror organization planned to blast themselves in Moscow in the time of festivities. The members of the local “sleeping cells” were supposed to provide them with the explosives,” reads the message.
A citizen of Tajikistan M. Izattilo who arrived from Istanbul was detained in early March at the airport in Moscow. In the time of interrogations he realized he could be deported to the motherland to Tajikistan where he could be sentenced life term.
He attempted to break his phone, he pierced his neck with scissors and attempted to commit a suicide in the time of detention. Then he admitted coming to Moscow with intention to commit a terror act- he was going to explode himself in the time of festivities on March 8.
