The Somali National Army, with the help of AMISOM, took over the town of Abiikarow
in the outskirts of the town of Marko, Lower Juba.
According to the SFF officials, the army has entered the city from two direction as there was strong militia of al-Shabaab fighter present in area.
The 26th Battalion of the 3rd Army division has reportedly carried out the operation that has liberated the city with amisom supporting them with tank fire.
“The abiikarow village has been invaded by al-Shabaab for a long time, and the army has seen this operation very important as the local resident has open ask the government to help them liberate their city.
