President Abdel Fatah al Sisi is scheduled to meet with Russian Defense Minister, Sergei Shoigu in Cairo Wednesday, Youm7 reported.
The meeting will address the latest developments of security situation in the region, especially crises in Syria, Libya, and Yemen and war against terrorism.
Shoigu has arrived in Cairo Tuesday as part of a 36-member delegation to meet with Sisi and senior Egyptian officials and discuss strengthening military cooperation between the two countries.
Egyptian Defense Minister Sedki Sobhi and Russia’s ambassador to Egypt Sergei Kerbachenko were among the delegation that received Shoigu at Cairo International Airport.
