Russian civilian medical sources, who prefer to remain anonymous, have acknowledged the increase in suicides among russian troops in Syria and in their return in Russia because of post traumatic stress problem
The news was kept secret by the Russian military authorities but a blog of women, mothers and wives of soldiers who committed suicide, have denounced the increased deaths, accusing the military and medical authorities.
“They have abandoned our men to themselves – so would have reported on the blog Olga Yeronova – Sons and husbands who were sent to fight in Syria, on their return they were not helped.”
The Russian military leaders have denied the report, accusing the Western services to disseminate news without foundation: “No one Russian military involved in the fighting in Syria had, in return home, post traumatic stress problems – said the commander of a returned department recently in Russia – and no one has ever committed suicide “
