Exchanged shooting in Ain El-Helwi camp last night left behind a toll of two killed and three injured, among them a woman, the NNA correspondent reported on Friday.
In details, the security situation in the camp escalated on Thursday night after a personal dispute erupted between an element of the Fatah movement and another of the Jund Al-Sham organization, thus leading to the shooting.
Contacts with the concerned sides resulted in ceasefire amid cautious calm.
Peace was soon interrupted by the sound of an explosion which injured the abovementioned woman, and heavy shooting which led to the death of Mohammad Al-Jandawi, member of the Palestinian National Security Forces.
The sound of bullets continued to be heard inside the camp, until dawn hours, along with missiles, machine guns and grenades.
