Notorious militant commander Mangal Bagh was killed in a drone strike in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province.
Mangal Bagh, the ringleader of Lashkar-e Islam terrorist group, was first wounded in the drone attack in Khoudi Khola area of Nangarhar on July 22 but later succumbed to his injuries.
Mangal Bagh is also referred as Haji Amir Mangal Bagh. He belonged to Afridi tribe.
Lashkar-e Islam, mostly active in Eastern Afghanistan, has sworn allegiance to the ISIS terrorist group and sent tens of fighters to Syria to assist the ISIS survive against the army and popular forces’ attacks, FNA reported.
