Iraqi security forces conducted a large-scale operation on Monday in Salahaddin province where they killed at least 11 jihadists belonging to the Islamic State (IS), like reported by basnews.com.
Iraqi War Media Cell confirmed in a statement that they operation also destroyed 13 hideouts where the IS militants used.
During the operation, they also discovered and destroyed 16 suicide bomb vests, according to the statement.
Elsewhere in Anbar province, west of Iraq, security forces killed six members of IS who had suicide bomb belts.
