Europol Director, Rob Wainwright warned Wednesday that there is high probability new massive terrorist attack is going to occur in Europe.
“The threat of terrorist attack is still high, the most serious since September 11, and I fear, that a new attack in Europe is possible in the future,” said Wainwright, addressing the Schengen Committee in the Italian Parliament.
He added, that Europol does not have “information for concrete threats for Italy“.
