As many as 50 people are dead and dozens more wounded in double Islamist attack near the northern Sinai town of El Arish, Egyptian media report.
According to initial reports, a bomb detonated near a mosque as worshipers concluded their Friday prayers in the village of a-Rauda. At the same time, a shooting attack by jihadists took place in El-Arish.
Most of the dead are said to be civilians.
