Four people were killed and 10 others were injured in a grenade attack on a bar in the capital of Burundi, media reported.
According to the BBC, the incident took place in Bujumbura on Sunday. The attack killed a child who was selling boiled eggs in the area, the British broadcaster reported.
Unknown assailants also injured several people throwing grenades at the police and the army in the city, according to the media outlet.Burundi has been in turmoil since late April, after President Pierre Nkurunziza announced his bid for a third term in office, although constitutionally he had to step down after two terms. His third-term bid was followed by an attempted coup in May. Over 400 people were killed in Burundi since April 2015, according to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.
