The Afghan police forces have killed the guerrilla warfare commander of Taliban during an ambush in south-eastern Ghazni province, like reported by khaama.com.
Interior ministry spokesman Nasrat Rahimi said the police forces laid an ambush against Qari Bashir, the commander of guerrilla warfare of Taliban in Ghazni province.
Rahimi further added that the police forces laid the ambush in Gadol Village of Qarabagha district killing Qari Bashir and his four companions.
The anti-government armed militants including Taliban have not commented regarding the killing of Qari Bashir so far.
Ghazni is among the relatively volatile provinces in South-east of Afghanistan.
Taliban militants are active in some of the restive districts of the province where they often attempt to carry out terrorist related activities against the government and security institutions.
