Qahar Sylab military operation is underway with new tactic on ISIS hideouts in eastern Nangarhar province.
Gen. Qadam Shah Shahem chief staff of Ministry of National Defense in his trip to Nangarhar said, hundreds ISIS loyalists including their commanders were killed during air and ground attacks carried out by Afghan and NATO forces in different parts of the province and most areas in Koot and Acheen districts have been cleared from existence of the terrorist group.
Air and ground attacks will continue until the province completely cleared from being of ISIS affiliates, Shahem added.
Security officials asked from Nangarhar people to cooperate with Afghan security forces in battlefields.
