Eight militants have been killed in an air strike in eastern Nangarhar province.
Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal, spokesman for the police headquarters of Nangarhar said that the air strike was carried out in the Jurisdiction of Mohmand Dara District on Friday.
He said two “Saracha” vehicles were targeted in the attack conducted around 10 am this morning leaving eight militants killed.
Vehicles and weapons of the militants were also destroyed in the air strike.
Four dead bodies, whose identities are yet to be ascertained, have been taken to the district office of Mohmand Dara District from the site.
According to Mashriqiwal, four bodies were beyond recognition.
