A group of eight suicide bombers linked to the Taliban were killed by their own explosives while they were organizing terrorist attacks in Kunduz province, the ministry of interior said in a statement Tuesday.
The incident took place in Nahar Kohna village, in Dasht-e-Archi district of northern Kunduz province.
In addition, the MoI reports that two local commanders of the Taliban were also killed in an armed conflict between the Taliban and Afghan National Police.
