At least 11 Taliban fighters including two key commanders of the group were killed in an Afghan forces operation in Zurmat district of the eastern province of Paktia, the National Directorate of Security (NDS) said in a statement on Monday, like reported by tolonews.com.
Different types of weapons and explosive devices were seized in the operation, the statement said.
No civilians casualties occured during the operation, the statement added.
Taliban has not commented on the operation.
