At least 21 armed militants were killed and eight others wounded in different crackdowns within past 24 hours, Ministry of Interior claimed.
In a press release issued here, Ministry of Interior said that Afghan National Police (ANP) in collaboration with Afghan National Army (ANA) and National Directorate of Security (NDS) has conducted joint operations against anti-state elements in different areas of Nangarhar, Baghlan, Takhar, Kunduz, Faryab, Sar-e-Pul, Jowzjan, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Herat, Farah, Helmand and Nimroz provinces.
In these operations 21 rebels were killed and eight others injured.
The ministry added that a Taliban fighter was also nabbed and hand over to the relevant officials for interrogation
