The website said that the evacuation consisted of four flights of about 50 people each from Juba to Entebbe in the Ugandan capital as the route.
“There was street to street fighting directly in front of the homes of many employees and aid workers after four days of heavy fighting, which we had to witness up close; there remained no other option but to evacuate.” Johannes Lehne, the Country’s ambassador in Juba was quoted saying on the website.
Since violence erupted in Juba, several diplomats including Japan, Sudan, United State of America, India and other countries have also evacuated their nationals.
Other International organizations operating in the country also pulled out their staffs citing the situation in Juba was undetermined.
